and it's not just ping
your NAT needs to be at least moderate for one
but also, the gtao engine is still framerate dependent
as pc's get faster this causes more issues even after some of the optimisation done in enhanced
they didn't look at a lot of situations where higher framerate breaks stuff
as more and more ppl have less potato pc's this issue becomes more widespread
the casino mantrap desync is the most well known one, it can be fixed by limiting your framerate to 60
and r* probably cant or won't fix this stuff as it requires changes or a range of bandaids to the engine
