the gta 5 we have now hasn't actually changed any of its original foundation. all they've done is port the original 360 and ps3 versions to xbox one and ps4 and then again to the series x/s and ps5. that's why i have such big anticipation for gta 6 since it'll be a clean slate, directly made on the strongest and most current technology there is for gaming
