Missiles and rockets (at least modern ones) have very few differences and practically the same, but they still have some differences, for example most missiles use some sort of system to track and follow a target while rockets simply shoot in a single direction, and missiles are self propelled while rockets tend to be launched from a weapon (rocket launcher for example)

I wouldn't give it armor but I would give it more speed at high altitudes and some sort of targetting system for the bombs to make high altitude bombing possible
