Last night, I managed to acquire 9 crates of special cargo and decided to try my second sale/delivery. My first had been 6 crates.

This one was a plane delivery.

I arrived at the airport without issue, boarded my little plane and flew (rather far) to the destination. Upon arrival, much to my surprise, I discovered that I was supposed to land rather than drop them from the air as I had done in previous, similar missions.

There was no runway.

There were, however, people shooting at me.

The timer was ticking down. I circled and finally decided on a spot I thought I could set down in the dirt.

Bullets were still hitting the plane.

I didn't make it and so circled again.

The timer was still ticking.

Finally, I knew I had it. I wasn't sure I'd have enough room to take off again but I had to try.

At the last moment, I remembered I hadn't lowered the landing gear! I had made that mistake once before and the plane hadn't fared well.

I hit the button, thinking, phew, at least I remembered this time!

Err, ooops. That wasn't the button for the landing gear.

That was the button for exiting a vehicle!

I tumbled to the ground.

So did the plane.

All 9 crates of special cargo went up in smoke.

All of the time, effort and money spent collecting those crates went up with it.
