for kosatka its very easy, ik a lot of people find it difficult because you die a lot if times to Merryweather, but an easy way is:
fast travel to near the test site, dont get out of the driver seat, drive the kosatka till you reach the test site. submerge the submarine and hold the horn button for a while, autopilot will engage, then get out of the kosatka, get in the other sub, get the sonar, and get back out right to the kosatka which is right next to you... youre welcome
