Strauss Zelnich is basically the one in charge of Take Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games (the company that makes and publishes the GTA games). He and Take Two are a large part to blame for alot of the horrible executive decisions and business practices that affect the GTA community, like Shark Cards and taking down sinvleplayer mods, even ORIGINAL content that was made crom scratch without ripping assets from gheir own games.

TLDR: Take Two and its CEO Strauss Zelnick are evil and have little regard to their customer base, including us.

Who else do you think were responsible for making GTA V become one of the first full-priced games to have microtransactions, let alone microtransactions that eventually made the Online component pay-to-win in the long run?

Honestly, it's most likely thanks to the prices of cars and properties getting inflated back in around 2015-2016 or so that it's started to beco.e an apparent problem. And to add inault to injury, they reduced mission payouts around the same time. All of that could be somehwat forgiven if GTA Online was free instead of having to have people buy GTA V.
