it’s pretty easy. when you finish a cayo legimately you pay your setup as soon as possible to active hard mode because it has to be hard mode. if you’re not in hard mode it won’t work so you have about 45 minutes to find something you like. also set your spawn to kosatka.

  1. do your scope out mission
  2. when you view the primary target stay on the camera until pavel has completely finished talking
  3. if you like the primary carry on and you’re done already, if not then find a new session
  4. active the primary scope out mission again
  5. hang out next to the objective by the LSIA hangar but don’t go into it yet
  6. call pavel and cancel the heist
  7. walk into the hangar objective
  8. you will fly back to cayo perico with a new loot roll, rinse and repeat until you have good loot.
  9. if you lose hard mode then complete the heist in its entirety and start from the beginning
