in my personal experience yes, it'll take a while to explain but the general idea is that grabbing secondary targets first allows you to have more options when looking for them, if u were to grab the primary at compound first you likely wouldn't go to north dock or airstrip after cuz of the checkpoint, only going to main dock would limit u to what little secondary targets spawn there, if u scope out airstrip or northdock and u see coke for example, id recommend going with the longfin approach and going to those locations first before going to the drainage tunnel, if u know ur gonna stick to the compound only (say u have a partner to grab gold with u), then still do longfin and set the island entry to main dock and drive ur way around the island to drainage (i dont know if this method is any faster, but i know the prep for it is quicker than kosatka, plus it wont be fairly slower, you'll still get elite)

I don't know if it makes that much of a difference solo. Maybe I'm just slow but my times getting secondary first versus taking them after the compound aren't that different. I guess if you take them first you can swim away from the island to escape

the lazer cannon shoots 25 times a second, there are 2 of them so really 50rpm. Each explosion does the same damage as the grenade in it's entire blast radius. The insurgent probably can't even take 20 grenades so if he magically hit you once per strafe you would still be dead
