If you’re getting disconnected in the mantrap, try making sure everyone stops running when you see the player markers disappear on ur minimap. Also capping ur fps to 60 might help.

i had never done the heists "really" until i started T4s

i did the OGs from back in the day, but then had quit for years

my first cayo was like a 30 minute disaster and i never did it again

until i started the farming, now can dual box it in 15-18 minutes, and half of that is farting around and travel

like i do the longfin approach to get to grappling spawns, get hook, go drainage tunnel. Leave #2 on balcony and set about killing in order the guards that need to die so i get the key cards. once path is cleared, get secondary loot(3 golds, always), park #2 at grappling exit right outside underground vault, get primary, run to grapple, jump over, get in ocean, swim to the exploding ball, and its over

Garment factory does have nice perks like quick travel and additional upgrades to the terrorbyte but I haven’t a need for any of that so I don’t got one myself but it has its appeal.
