Businesses are great if you want to continue making money without having to continue paying for it but it does mean you'll have to put in the work doing the missions yourself free of charge but not a lot of players want to do that. I enjoy putting in the work but I also hate the idea of spending money to make money. Running heists are the quickest but if you want to add businesses to your list, I strongly recommend against buying everything without fully understanding what they do. Instead, do some research and buy the ones you're willing to put effort into.

Nightclub for sure. Don't worry about maxing it out because it is an infinite source of income. I'd go as far as to say that a limit is imposed once you max out your space so by not doing that, you keep it infinite. Troublemaker and vip missions are quite easy and it is difficult to raise the spookometer unless you drive like a maniac. Drive with a sense of urgency slowing down to clear intersections and it becomes a breeze.

I really hate the idea of spending money to make money. Fact is you don't have to. While I agree heists make a lot more and believe that's where someone should start, you 100% do not need to start there especially if you don't want to make recurring payments. I honestly got most of my levels doing the treasure hunts and collectibles so I don't really know the state of level 1s but I do know that you burn out a lot more easily if you get caught in a routine you don't particularly enjoy.

My practices won't work for anyone else other than myself because I enjoy doing the grunt work and doubt other people would so I don't see how it's particularly relevant but they allow me to profit without having to worry about any expenses along the way.

Well that's just it. None of that interests me. Doing the same thing over and over burns you out quite easily but not if you actually enjoy doing it. My main source of income is the nightclub that I never let max out so it remains infinite. Towing cars and customizing motorbikes are some of the things I actually enjoy doing.

Add mc businesses where stealing once guarantees up to two sell vehicles, you're able to solo them. And because you're not paying for supplies every dollar becomes profit. Hangar stock is another task I enjoy doing at my own pace but it is a little difficult managing these tasks while keeping the nightclub in check so I no longer have the time to do so. Whenever I want to, I gotta ask my techs to stop sourcing because the last thing I want is to begin losing money from an infinite source of income.

sounds good, but you do seem to be doing other things over and over and still not burning you out, so I can't see the difference between doing a cluckin bell farm raid and stealing supplies and selling MC business products or eventually selling your NC goods, no matter how variated your routine is, it will end up being a routine after all and you will be doing things over and over again.
Perhaps you just found a sweet spot and some of those activities you do over and over are still enjoyable for you and that's why you don't burn out
