i was like that until maybe 150 on my og account, my bank balance at any time was rarely more than 10m for the first 9 months to a year of afk
then you stop buying stuff as much and become more selective because it's now just some cars you want, and your balance starts growing if you're earning at the same pace (as I was doing with AFK)
my habit with the og was to buy everything I wanted on sale (so it took me almost two years to get a Krieger for example) and with dlc's to buy the property and one car i liked from dlc release at full price but to wait to get the rest on sale
that made my money go a lot further, especially back when we still had Prime
