the only penthouse actually worth it is the crashpad since you'll break even with it (mission money + first-time bonuses + 1m = cost of crashpad)
the rest is mostly if you want to rp a baller or want to invite other ppl around

doing all the missions gets you about 1.5m (first time only) meaning you broke even and have a free car

the rest you can wait for discount weeks

the garage might be useful depending on your vehicle situation but you can park unweaponized cars temporarily in the casino car park to get rid of cops etc anyway

Hey guys, I'm about to migrate and I'm worried about my legacy progress - does anybody know how migrating works?

Migrate will either work or not. Select migrate in Enhanced, follow the instructions and see how it goes.

Situations where it can fail seems to be primarily money based assuming your (legacy) account is over a month old, and unless you have access to deeper GTAO knowledge and the appropriate tools there's not much you can do about it if you fail the migration check. So you don't have a lot to lose trying to do it anyway.
