It is not considered lazy, at least not by me, if you purchase instead of stealing supplies. That is the correct way in my opinion.
If you have a decent car and weapon, you should be fine doing cluckin snd bell farm raid. Then when you have 2.2 million for kosaka submarine, and another whopping 1.7 million for a sparrow helicopter as anoption with the submarine, you can begin to do cayo perico. However if you have friend that would be able to help you or you are not trying to find someone here in lfg channels, personally I would recommend arcade over kosaka submarine as I personally believe casino heist is better than cayo perico, however it also requires a little bit more skill than cayo

People still do it in 2025, you're not the only new player, and that's not impossible it's actually quite easy if you don't have stupid people in your teammates, or at least don't be one yourself.

shooting range rewards you for completing challenges, it will increase your ammo capability to a max if you spend some time completing all of them.
You can get to it eventually while you play, I generally start a new character, just play and it improves as you go, I generally get up to max capacity within a week of playing, without spending time in the shooting range, but it also give you other rewards, like career related achievements. But some of them need to be done with others

fast AND good handling there are a few, the krieger is one, the vagner is another one, and for HSW I think the GTS may be the fastest but the ignus is much better at handling, the only minus is you can't use it in time trials because it's weaponized

the fastest and great handling is the LM87, but I don't really like driving around with it, it's a race car

for free mode I still prefer my beloved armored kuruma, it has almost full bulletproof protection, it handles great, it's fast enough and it's built like a tank, so when those damn NPCs cut you off you simply drive through them and don't loose control
