The contracts are nice but as long as you don’t blow yourself up and pay the hospital fee, you always profit when towing cars. I always take the time to spawn something in just in case the police get called. They aren’t after the truck and the owner never shows unless you wait. Fly away and lose the cops and you’d have no interruptions on the drive back.
