CASINO HEIST MANTRAP BUG FIX (PSN/XBOX)
So ever since 2019 there's been a bug where you get kicked out of the mantrap, I've been doing testing since the pc fix has been pinned to this channel as well (🚔gta-discussion) Tonight is the night that I have FINALLY found a fix for this bug.
I have been testing since 8PM tonight until now and for the past few hours I've had a success rate of 100% with this method, 0 kicks at all. I have tested all approaches, Silent and Sneaky, aggressive and even went to test every single disguise for the big con to make sure this works.
When you leave the vault and enter the mantrap, you hit checkpoints. These checkpoints load progress and the data that happened before you initially entered the mantrap (like doors you've unlocked with the keycard) this can glitch and then kick you out of the mantrap.
To fix this it's pretty simple, when you leave the vault and enter the mantrap, when you hit the first checkpoint you hear a sound of it being hit along with your hud changing/disappearing. When that happens everyone in the mantrap stands still. You beging moving again only after the elevator shows back up on your map. That's it really.
It won't be an issue for the elite challenge unless you have really bad rng with car spawns and buyer spawns, overall you should be fine.
@wintry heron came to me with this solution which I then tested for everyone.
