It gets raided by NPCs. And no, you can't prevent it from getting raided. You can only lower your chances of getting raided by buying a security upgrade

where you can get raided without being a CEO

on my second character i just keep all 5 warehouses at 111 crates and never log in aside from 2x money

and on main i keep it at 77 and then fill the rest when it's 2x money before selling

since at 78+ you get raids
