then the next time you'll choose bigcon there's a skull icon on the approach indicating it's hardmode

the cooldown for the next heist is 48 minutes and to activate hardmode there's no cooldown

Long story short, you can sell the car for $0, if you upgrade it, you only get 50% of the purchased upgrades.
