Neither have I seen anyone fly the velum in the right seat. Those are passenger seats it's not possible to fly the aircraft to my experience in those seats hence your character moves over to the left

This game was never made to be close to realism or anything of that from the real world. Game mechanics and physics wise it's closer to an Arcade racer than a Sim.

IRL copilot can entirely flight the aircraft, dude, believe me, I've flown a real velum and the instructor was on my right, and he could control the plane exactly like me, moreover, when one moves the stick the other one moves as well

The reason rockstar has to make offbrand vehicles is because certain companies don't want to be associated with such a game that can ruin there advertising or deals. That's why they make as close as they can to realism but aren't given the licensing to copy the exact brand title.
