Im pretty sure it is like 48 mins after the heist you get a text about the heist being available again, and from that point you have another 48 to pay for the setup fee which then activates hard mode

That shouldn't matter, but if you log out for example after you completed the heist, the game still has the cool down for the heist going even if you're offline

Like if you go offline and come back 3 hours later despite receiving that text message from Pavel the hard mode window has passed

Second attempt he alerted a guard when we were about to leave and third attempt he alerted as soon as we escaped and I died outside of the compound and rage quit
