It automatically sends them to your garage if you choose “Claim All”, it doesn’t matter if it’s 1 or 50 cars you’re reclaiming. But it’ll spawn at the mm depot if you select a single vehicle itself to collect

Your friend may be tempted to buy supplies for the mc business but as unpopular of an idea it is, it’s very difficult to get the money back so they would have to upgrade and spend even more money hoping it would be enough to break even. Stealing supplies can be done for free so any money make is profit making upgrades highly recommended but it’s still a suggestion and not a requirement.
Now for ceo crates, you don’t have a choice but to pay. I’ve never done it because of this so I don’t know the details but from what I’ve seen, the payout more than covers how much you’ve sunk into it.
