2. Walk up to the car. A menu will pop up showing the price (based on the base car and all the upgrades).

3. Hit purchase

Trading is misleading 💀 though lol. You're essentially just letting someone make an exact duplicate of your car.

Y'know I had this idea for how to bring old cars without adding them back onto the market, and it's actually really similar to what Rockstar did. By using Simeon "Legitimate Businessman" Yetarian. Perhaps and update where we partner up with him to steal vintage and high-end cars, and the cars we steal Simeon are the removed cars.

So, it would kinda start by buying some expensive property for usual 2 and a half bajilion dollars, and then we would be able to buy the removed cars inside this property for some absurd prices where they are roughly 10x their original price because "They are not that easy to source nowadays, you know?" (Simeon). Like the Z-type would actually cost 10 mil like in Single Player, or Cheburek costing around 6 to 8 hundred thousands. But you can source these vehicles (varying difficulties for varying class of vehicles) to get reduced price. Maybe not original price, but a heavily reduced one. Like steal Cheburek from some russian gang, and steal Z-Type from Argentinian Ambassador with heavy armored military escort.

While the whole idea still would be a massive downgrade all things considered, at the very least it would both force players to either grind or buy shark cards, protecting Rockstar's interests and there will be less Fear of Mission Out I absolutely despise. Plus bring back a (semi) iconic single player character that pretty much does nothing in Online.

Obviously Rockstar will never do this, but still, would at least be a decent way to bring back removed cars.

To be completely honest I still didn't do Salvage Yard or Clucking Bell raid because I decided to play GTA Online in the timeline of updates, like from The Heists, Lowriders, Gunrunning all the way to the Clucking Bell Raid (With the exception of Cayo Perico heist and Los Santos Tuners due to, well, money issues). So I can't really say whether there will be conflicts with recent businesses.

Though I assume it wouldn't conflict too much. Sure, they probably would be painfully similar, but not like it stopped Rockstar from re-using Trevor Missions in Drug Wars.

By the end of the day I thought up about this "update" as a handicap for Rockstar if they want to double-down on their excuse of "Not clogging up websites with unused cars" but still break to the Player Base pressure and hate for removing nearly 200 cars. A middle ground.
