security contracts pay average 40k or so and most can be done in less than 5 min
it also has a built in ammunation store to buy armor and mk2 upgrades for weapons
also unlocks payphone hits where u can make a quick 45k in less than 5 min
if u do enough security contracts it has a safe that pays up to 20k per in game day for nothing
also it unlocks imani tech upgrades for certain vehicles

I know it's not supposed to work this way, but I swear if you play Cayos a lot, it seems like you have a worse chance of getting the pink diamond. I once did almost 25 runs in a row on hard mode without getting it. Gave up for a bit.

I haven't tested (enough) paying the setup fee and then waiting 72 hours before scoping.

I'm not sure if the 72 hours is until you pay the setup fee or scope.

The Vinewood (Eight-Bit) and La Mesa (Videogeddon) locations are both short drives to the casino.

One difference though is on the Vault Contents prep, you will always be sent to the Observatory with the Eight-Bit location, making it very quick, whereas you could be sent all over Los Santos, including to the Del Perro Pier, with the Videogeddon location.

I do like being able to drive behind the Videogeddon location along the canal for the Aggressive sewer entry and S&S roof entry.

Okay so after asking around a couple other places; it seems like what I have experienced is called a "ghost raid",
The indicators for this appear to be:

• cops or other NPCs outside of warehouses/bussineses being locked-on-to-able;or
• being unable to access businesses (warehouses mainly, it seems) ;and/or
• you get the "product lost" banner/text message
  Apparently it can happen to any business but most commonly special cargo.
  There's apparently no way to prevent it; you either notice when you are unable to access a business (mainly warehouses), or you navigate to each of your businesses every so often to check if it's being raided.
  Going afk in passive mode apparently can pause the raid timer so that at least covers me for most of the time.

Ghost raids are basically identical to regular raids, the only difference is the game won't tell you when the raid has started, only when it finishes - and you will lose some stock.
Staying below 75/111 crates helps lower your chances of getting raided to basically nill (it basically sets the raid time to a really slow count), but there is still a slim chance you'll get raided

Oh, I had read in a very old Reddit post (that was comprehensive) that the stock had to be 78 crates or above to get raided. But, that could be wrong.

The raid timer is stock percentage driven, the more stock you have then the faster it ticks.
I've read posts from ppl getting raided with less than 78 crates (or whatever the number is ppl say) but they are still very rare. 78/111 crates is 70% so it could be those posts were from ppl with medium warehouses who hit the 70% stock level.

My issues with raids are:

• in a MC:
• I already have to deal with those slow post op trucks (garbage trucks aren't much better)
• the business sales are oriented towards co-op plater so can be challenging for solo players (don't take me wrong, it's (mostly) doable solo but still a challenge and you basically need to go flat out, no time for breaks if someone attacks you)
• in a ceo:
• I've spent hours filling up those warehouses, either over the course of a couple days or piecemeal over a few weeks
  I do agree they can add more immersion to the game but they can also be a pain for ppl with limited time to play. I'd much prefer a feature where I could bribe the npcs to prevent raids.
