I think I figured it out. Why so many people have been having a very difficult time trying to spawn the gooch event, because even in my session, for some reason, even after an hour of gameplay, he refuses to spawn for anyone even in a full public lobby.

So I noticed that the moment I got done turning off ALL free mode events such as business battles, criminal damage, and others all of a sudden after five minutes of walking around on the ground in a full lobby. The gooch finally showed up. So I think the reason why everyone’s having a hard time is that they still have remote events turned on which is conflicting with the scripting for overworld events. like for example you can’t find the holiday truck if a business battle showed up

The minimum requirement is that it Hass to be in a lobby with at least one other person after 48 minutes, but as for specifics to trigger the event that I still can’t figure out which person in the lobby gets priority

The reason why sessanta is constantly texting you is because for some reason the first car lift in the autoshop is somehow linked to the car lift in the chopshop. Every time the cars in the chop shop disappear, the first car at the autoshop will disappear.

I'm playing on PS5 but due to my friends I'm using the PS4 version. So.. when I load into GTAO my auto aim doesn't work. I have set it to "Assisted Aim - full" but it doesn't work.. this is a new problem because usually I just pressed L2 to aim and it locked onto players and NPCs. Now the aim doesn't lock onto anything.. does anyone know how to fix that?

Well when I set my third person cotroltype to alternative I get my aim assist.. But It's really annoying and confusing to have my L2 and R2 buttons switched with L1 and R1

You should try to do it in storymode, fix your aim there through the setting, just check it by aiming on random civilians there in storymode, you should be good. If still not good, I don't know....

Yes.. I have to open my weapon wheel with L2 now because I've set my control type to alternative because thats the only way to get the auto aim work

there’s a few things you can try

Make sure it’s actually on full auto aim, go into story mode first, turn it on, then leave game and clear your cache while the game is booting up
So after you press launch on the game hold R1 and L1 until you get to the start menu

If your controller has any extra input binds, they may be interfering with something so remove them

Make sure your targeting priority in the interaction menu is set to Everyone

one easy way to see if you have a trigger issue is by playing a racing game, the triggers are usually super sensitive so you have more control over the speed of a car
First of course drive normally, fully press R2 and see how fast your car accelerates, then make it so that L2 is your acceleration button and go full speed

If it’s slower even a little bit it means your trigger isn’t fully engaging

I recommend the first thing that you do once you find yourself freeroaming is to complete all of the unique item treasure hunts

Each one gives you a weapon, and each weapon has a challenge to them
Navy revolver = kill 50 people
Golden revolver = get 50 headshots
Stone hatchet = kill 25 people
Each challenge gives you 250k

then I recommend completing all of the flight school lessons and earning a gold medal on them, getting all gold medals gives you 250k

That is by far the most straightforward way of earning your first million
