Depends. You get a random hit/contract each time. Hits usually take like 3-4 minutes. Celebrity contracts takes at most 10 minutes.

Hits you could only do one per GTA day. While security contracts could be done every 4 minutes. Hits could pay up to 80k. Contracts could pay up to 40k I am pretty sure.

You get money in a safe per gta day which caps at 250k. Then you have underground warehouses that makes you stock from your other businesses. In order to get this stock, you need technicians. This is the best passive business in the game, but also the longest.
