And I’d fail like 5 times in a row

Casino heist is a good heist too. You have 3 ways of approaching but the most fun one has to be aggressive

Sadly you gotta pick the right target or you'll lose a lot of money if done aggressive

Back then, missions were designed for players to work together and to be played with friends but now days most mission can be done solo and don't require to have a teammate which is good

They made the casino story missions solo which is good. I wish the Lowriders missions were solo too, except first mission

Aggressive is the most fun but harder to pull off. You're guranteed to loose even more of your profit because of getting shot at. Compared to other approaches.
