Long time gta veteran here, I quit during the heat of when everyone was grinding the cayo perico heist and then swapped consoles (to pc). Obviously, if you didn't know, gta premium edition+megladon shark card was on sale for like 45 dollars or smth on steam. So i have ~11M gta moneys. Hey, I'm trying to do the First Dose mission and work my way to getting the acid lab. I can survive the shootout at the first place, but once I cross the lake and start shooting the guys there I tend to die pretty quick even while spamming snacks.

Is there anything I can do to increase my survival rate? I'm wearing super heavy armor and like I said, I'm spamming snacks every chance I get.
