I had a pack that did that a while ago, but it seems that 1.21.90 changed how lighting with vv worked and now it doesnt work anymore. im trying to make a map with full vv and rtx support and rtx already has the true darkness while vv doesnt. any help would be appreciated

Well yeah that varies with the pack, default Minecraft's Vibrant Visuals already showers the player with tons of ambient lighting, because (God forbid) darkness makes for difficult gameplay

All VV packs have an ambient lighting parameter you can change to zero, use one and modify it.

I could be very mistaken, but I think its souly based on how much attention the RTX app itself gets, if VV will have "app status"

I have some ideas for features a VV feature on the rtx app or an app of its own could have. like being able to change the color grading back to vanilla, blocky or soft shadows, what the minimum ambient light is, and how water looks and waves

because I really like the app

As for VV, I would love to, got a bunch of things planned, there are a lot of cool things I could do for VV, powerful tools, lots of ideas.

But I'd like to remind everyone Vanilla RTX is my passion project (and the only one for now)

I don't get paid enough to do more, because again, It's a passion project, no sane person would be doing what I'm doing.
