I really can't explain it any further unfortunately, am totally lost. It was working just fine yesterday, but then today it stopped working as intended. I can tell the pack is still active because somethings don't render at all (water, Nether portal, arrows), but none of the lighting or texture effects are there. Is this a known issue with the version? Could I have changed a setting somewhere without realizing? Any help would be appreciated, thank you

Interdimensional traveler! There has never been a Vanilla RTX 2.5.1
What’s this then?
I would still love some help, the situation hasn’t resolved itself unfortunately which would have been convenient since it did seem to just cause itself
Likely a similar issue to https://discord.com/channels/721377277480402985/1065979435800592515
I’ve tried both several times, turning it on and off in game, turning it on and off in menu then playing, turning it on and off in menu, exiting Minecraft, then going back on and playing
None really seemed to do anything
A video speaks more than a thousand words 🙂
Sure, what do you want me to send you a video of though? The settings, me loading in?
The entire process as well as the issue, I could watch and understand the issue.
Okay, I’ll take a video when I get back to my place in like twenty or so minutes
@umbral laurel
Video showing my laptop specs to show I’m on RTX, as well as me loading into Minecraft 1.21 and showing you the two resource packs I have. I have the Vanilla RTX 2.5.1 active because that was the one that worked, but I also have 1.21.0 installed and that one didn’t work either. I just updated Bedrock to 1.21.0 so it’s not that
This is also what water looks like
Enable it, head to video settings and enable ray tracing before joining your world.
It was enabled, that’s what I showed you
You never went to video settings
It’s why the portal is see through, it’s not that there’s no portal it’s that the RTX is messing with how it’s rendered
Check the very end, it was already active
Oooh, I’m so sorry duh you did say video settings
I kinda just conflated the two to being the same thing
Okay I saw the Ray tracing setting and toggled it, all works now
I really don’t understand how that got untoggled though, I wouldn’t have thought to go turn it off I didn’t even know the setting was there
