I am lk starting to think piercing rounds are op. I didn't care about them because everyone runs light frame but hear me out. Not every operator is good for roaming or wideswinging in close combat so they dont need ads movement speed. I think heavyweight frame is great for spawncamping or prefiring with a shaiiko peek.
Piercing rounds also seem to be really powerful, maybe even broken.
I never thought much of them but I have all attackers on max level and the last operator I maxed was atk recruit. I was wondering why piercing rounds are so late in his leveling guide. Turns out they are really good with large mags and high fire rates. Just prefire walls and you know where the enemy is.
