To Operators,
As youโre aware, weโve unfortunately been experiencing some issues since launching our Closed Beta on Monday. Server problems with rubber banding, error codes, and some bugs preventing being able to progress further in the game.
Additionally, we have discovered that many invites weโve sent so far have not been received by players.
This is of course extremely disappointing to all of us, and not the experience we intended for our community. All hands are on deck to try and resolve these issues as quickly as possible. We are hoping to deploy fixes within the next few days and get the Beta back on track before inviting new players.
We have decided to keep the current servers open so we can continue to monitor and track game issues that need to be fixed. We would like to thank the current Beta players for reporting issues in the current test phase and our community for their patience.
Our sincere apologies โ we will continue to update you on our progress.

Hi Operators! We have a temporary fix for those experiencing the error 1102 issue while we work on a permanent one:
- Link your account to Ubisoft Connect to keep your progression
- Delete the R6M app
- Clear the Google Play Store cache
- Reboot your mobile device
- Install R6M again from Google Play

Weโd like to take a moment to thank you for your support and patience since the very beginning of our testing phases. We understand that the wait can be difficult as we're working to put the game into everyoneโs hands.
We also want to explain more of our roll-out strategy for the Soft Launch phase. We are still in a testing phase, which is why we've chosen to launch the game in territories that are neither too small nor too large, allowing us to acquire the data and feedback we need to improve our game.
Currently, we're focusing our soft launch strategy on the LATAM region and will continue to add new regions and territories gradually. We're not sharing any dates or timelines, as we prefer to remain agile to focus on the stability of our servers, and making improvements to optimization and gameplay.
A big thank you, once again, to all our community who support R6M. We've come a long way since our first Closed Alpha, and we couldn't have done it without you.
We stay committed to develop the best R6 experience on Mobile and canโt wait to release our game worldwide.

As you know, weโve made some major changes to the economy in R6M.
Weโve introduced a new soft currency: Renown; designed to improve the in-game economy and give you more control. You can now choose which Operator to unlock when you have enough Renown, instead of relying on random tickets ๐ซ๐๏ธ!
Your existing tickets, Operator unlock progression, and mastery tokens will be converted to Renown. But donโt worry, youโre not losing any of your progress!

The dev team has deployed a quick fix that should help resolve this issue. Here's what we've improved in this hotfix:
๐น Temporarily removed Bank main entrance spawn point from the spawn selection to address the spawn peek
๐น Barricades are now indestructible during the prep phase in Ranked, adding a layer of strategy and security
๐น Re-enabled loadout selection in Ranked pre-match, so you can choose the perfect setup to win those games

Hi Operators,
Weโve recently investigated some of the main concerns raised by the community since resuming Soft Launch. We wanted to take a moment to share what weโve found and what weโre doing to address them.
Region Restrictions and Latency
Weโve heard your concerns about region restrictions and high latency, especially from players outside participating regions. Players in supported regions, such as Argentina, have reported good latency. This means that latency should improve as we roll out to new regions.
Minimum Specs and FPS Limitations
Weโve noticed ongoing discussions about minimum device specs, frame rate limits, and performance on lower-end devices. The average reported FPS is around 34, which aligns with lower-end devices capped at 30 FPS. Many of you have also asked why certain devices arenโt on our compatibility list or why FPS is locked. Adding to this confusion was an issue where devices may have appeared to be incorrectly categorized. This issue has since been fixed and will roll out with our next big update. Weโre also working on clarifying compatibility requirements and performance expectations, so youโll have a better idea of what to expect.
Bug Reports
There are still reports of bugs, like issues with Operator mastery progression, frame rate stutters, and UI glitches. Weโve created a team to dig into these issues, and weโre working on better ways to monitor and resolve these problems.
We know these issues can be frustrating, and we really appreciate your patience while we work through them. Your feedback is invaluable, and we encourage you to continue reporting issues and sharing your thoughts.

Back at the beginning of November we shared our roadmap to Global Launch where we talked about the three phases we were implementing. These phases were designed to assess and validate all the changes weโd made to the game. We mentioned that we would not progress to the next phase until our expectations were met and the phase was considered successful. This was important so we could continue to bring you the best tactical experience possible.
Today weโre excited to announce that we have โจ officially passed phase one! โจ
Phase 1 โ Technical Test PASSED
Phase one was a tech test where we technically tested all of our new features and changes. The team has worked hard to quickly respond and monitor issues. Our expectations have been met, and we are now moving on to phase two.
Phase 2 โ Engagement Test
In the new year, we will begin Phase two, our engagement test. We are going to be testing the enjoyability of the new features and evaluate how well we keep players engaged and returning. This is an important phase to ensure we have a large pool of players and continue to offer optimal matchmaking and fewer bots.
Phase 3 โ Transitioning to Global Launch
Once the engagement test is successful, we will begin the final phase, transitioning to Global Launch.

Happy Monday! Weโve got a quick update for you on the current season and whatโs next.
As you know, the in-game timer for Ice Storm is ending tomorrow, March 11th. When it hits zero, weโll be restarting the timer and rerunning the season in full; bringing back both Most Wanted and Cold Clash. The game will go into maintenance for 4+ hours before the season restarts.
Weโve seen great responses from Ice Storm, as well as from our recent launches in Argentina, France, and Poland, and weโre taking the time to carefully review everything. We will continue making improvements, and preparing for our next big milestone, worldwide launch!

Ranked Fixes: Matches should now be 5v5 all-human squads when the game begins. While rare cases can still bring in a bot if someone drops in the final seconds or mid-match, we expect a big improvement overall. We know Ranked matchmaking balance still has room to improve, but weโre committed to refining the experience.
Hip Fire Lean: You asked and we listened! Weโve added the hip fire lean mechanic in the new season, beginning next week! Youโll be able to lean while firing from the hip.
Updates in Progress:
Performance Improvements: The team has started looking into the latency issues to make your gameplay smoother and faster. The team also started investigating 120 FPS and other advanced options for high-end phones.
Objective Selection: Weโre beginning work on one of the most requested features, letting you select your objective in Ranked.

Some of you may have noticed your device now running at 30 FPS instead of 60. While certain models were previously able to reach 60 FPS, the frame rate often dipped, creating lag or choppiness. A stable 30 FPS generally feels smoother than a fluctuating 60 FPS.
Our top priority is to deliver the smoothest and most stable experience possible across all devices. To give you some context: last season, we opened up a new region and saw a wave of new devices come in. Thatโs been both exciting and challenging, as weโre learning directly from this data and adjusting configs in real time to find the right balance between frame rate, stability, battery usage, and overall performance.
We know some models may feel restricted under the current setup, so weโre actively fine-tuning the experience for each phone based on your reports and live monitoring data.
If you believe your device has been wrongly categorized, please share your model details with us, weโll pass them along to our tech team for review. This work is ongoing, and device grading will continue to evolve as we gather more insights.

With the worldwide launch now behind us, we want to take a moment to thank everyone whoโs jumped in and joined the conversation. The response from players has been incredible, and weโve seen your excitement, discussions, and more importantly, weโve been reading the feedback youโve shared across our channels.
Today, we wanted to give you an update on a few topics weโve been seeing the community talk about:
**RENOWN CAP [ADJUSTED] **
- Weโve received a lot of feedback on our current Renown distribution system, and weโll slowly begin rolling out a few improvements in the coming days. We will be increasing the weekly renown cap:
- From 5300 to 7500
- This will make it quicker to unlock Operators.
- We are exploring improvements to the overall economy and will bring more news in our next season.
**MATCHMAKING [LIVE NOW] **
- Starting today, we will be tightening matchmaking so there will be less variation in Ranks and MMR.
- We will also be lowering Rank allowance between friends from 3 to 2.
- We will continuously be working on improving the Rank matchmaking experience with every update.
SENSITIVITY ISSUES [FIXED]
- We noticed many players had inconsistent sensitivity issues, and weโve fixed this; it will be included in the next hotfix.
**- Note with this change: ** - For players who didn't change their sensitivity settings, you will notice you can turn faster when swiping fast (there was a perceived limit).
- For players whoโve already boosted their sensitivity settings, you will notice it no longer slows down when swiping fast. You may want to lower your sensitivity settings to previous levels, regaining precision while keeping the ability to rotate fast when swiping fast.
**TEAM DEATHMATCH [LIVE NOW] **
- We saw a lot of requests to have Team Deathmatch mode for players to warm up, try out weapons, and change the tempo.
- Starting today, Team Deathmatch will be a new playlist.
PRONE CAMERA LIMITS [REMOVED]
- In the previous update, we introduced camera limits while prone, which made it difficult to swipe past the limits of the legs of the player. This will be removed in the upcoming hotfix as we take time to balance and polish the overall feature.
- With the hotfix, players will notice that aiming while prone will feel a lot more fluid.
**SPRINT EXITS LEAN [FIXED] **
- Weโve fixed the issue where sprinting does not exit lean. This fix will be included in the next hotfix.
**RANKED MODE MEDALS [FIXED] **
- We noticed a bug where players don't get medals after playing Ranked but received them after resetting their device. This will be fixed in the next hotfix.
**GAMEPAD SUPPORT [UPDATE] **
- Currently, we only support the gamepad in gameplay, so once you get into your first real match, you can plug your controller.
- Weโll be working on supporting the gamepad full loop through menus in the future.
- We see a lot of feedback about separating controller players and touch players, and fair competition is a top priority for us. This is a subject that we will continue to monitor. Based on current data, both gamepad and touch players are able to compete against each other at the highest level.
**VOICE CHAT ISSUES [WORKING ON IT] **
- We noticed that the voice chat is disabling game audio. For now, one possible workaround is disabling and reenabling your mic.
This is an ongoing process, and your feedback continues to shape how we move forward. Weโll keep listening as we test, optimize, and refine the experience. Weโre committed to being transparent about whatโs coming next and giving you updates, so you always know where we stand and whatโs coming next.

Hello Operators,
We know some of you have been running into frustrating issues lately. The team has been reviewing reports and weโre currently tracking the following:
- FPS drops and device overheating, particularly on iOS
- Latency and gameplay performance issues
- Hit registration inconsistencies
- Multiple taps not registering
- Medals not progressing in Ranked
- Operator unlock progression taking longer than expected
Several fixes are being implemented in upcoming updates, including improvements to hit registration, tap responsiveness, iOS latency, and overall gameplay stability. The fix addressing FPS drops and overheating is currently scheduled to release on March 24th.
The Ranked medals progression issue is actively being worked on, while 120 FPS availability and Operator unlock pacing are still under investigation as the team looks into possible improvements.
We really appreciate everyone continuing to send reports, videos, and device info. It helps the team narrow down issues faster. Weโll share more updates as progress is made.

Weโve seen your reports about the settings and HUD configurations resetting after the latest update, and weโre sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
This issue is tied to the introduction of cloud saves. From now on, with this update, your settings will be automatically restored when you reinstall the game, clear local data, or use a new phone, as long as your game account was previously linked to Ubisoft Connect.

The Closed Alpha is a testing period with a limited number of players and a limited amount of content from the game. This is considered a work-in-progress and will likely include bugs and issues that may affect the game experience.
The goal of this testing phase is to gather constructive feedback from players on the gameplay, controls, your online experience, the general feeling of the game and any other aspects that could help us improve. We will also test the stability of the servers.
