Riposte done by another player

Is the following scenario possible? Player A gets parried by player B, then player B walks away as soon as the party is executed. Player C approaches player A and does the riposte while A is still in that part of the animation when a riposte can be executed. If so, does this also work with pve enemies that don’t use player model?
