DS3 stuttering only in fullscreen mode

when im in fullscreen the game is horribly stuttery for whatever reason, but when i switch to windowed mode its fine. The thing is, i much prefer fullscreen, as the game has no borderless windowed mode for whatever reason. could anyone tell me a way to either force borderless windowed mode or fix the stuttering on fullscreen mode?

try right clicking the executable, selecting properties>compatibility>disable fullscreen optimizations
