I’m locking in sm but he’s just insane if i get hit once i get full pieced and i don’t do enough damage i use a raw +5 claymore is it just skill?

stationary-like boss, lot's of aoe attacks, my go-to is using storyteller staff + pestilent mist and a nice shield (I use black knight shield, you can use a better one if you can)
Shield does wonders against his aoe attacks, even though he is resistant to storyteller's poison, you can melt his health with enough stalling.
Black knight greatsword is also very nice as a melee option, because of the bonus against demons and weapon art.
Casting sorceries or lighting miracles can be good, as you will be taking distance, still, dark sorceries are better for this fight.
Most of his damage absorptions are very low.
Standard damage, Thrust and Dark are at 0%
Strike is at -2%
Do not use fire.
He is inmune to bleed and frostbite, so don't try to use those.
Try to break his poise and endure until he releases his final attack, that's when he is very low on health, keep your focus when it happens, because it can deal lots of damage if it gets you (Shield can be very useful here) and when he finishes, he would be practically finished, because he will not be properly able to fight.
Bring a few red bug pellets (15% fire damage reduction)
And if you can, cast Flash Sweat too (30% fire damage reduction)
They stack, so you can get 45% fire damage reduction.
I suggest strike and fire resistant armor.

black knight sword does extra damage against demons and is overall very powerful. u can get it in demon ruins behind an illusory wall. considering ure using a claymore, u should get the strength requirement pretty easily.
