It can be equipped as a shield or as a fist weapon. When used as a shield, it provides good damage absorption and can parry attacks.

The issue doesn't rely on the weapons or levels
It is purely on you

I don't know Elden Ring, so I really can't weigh opinion on whats difference between them.
But to answer your question, soul drops are common trade between players, so it is possible.
But does it help your case beating abyss watchers? The answer is 99% no.

@strong zinc grab a shield and block they're attacks if you can't dodge them you can also bring two npc summons if you did they're quests up until now, or you can go back and do them at this point you still have the chance to get the quests to the point where you fight the abyss watchers together and as for levels get to 20 vigor and you should be set until lothric Castle maybe

you can literally beat them at lvl 1 with no issue, learn to dodge into them and not to the side or back dodges, you’ll have less adp while doing that, anyway, their moveset is easy to learn and they have low poise
