How do I get past how do I kill the mimics outside of yhorms bonfire

get rid of the gargoyles first and then one by one kill the fire throwers (or whatever you call them) and then you can tackled the mimics, I suggest luring the gargoyles to the tunnel taking you to yhorm

I just run straight to yhorm. I go down the ladder beside the bonfire and I go across the bridge looking thing. I also dodge every now and then to avoid the fire. And when the gargoyle sees me I js dodge forward as it thrusts past me and I sprint all the way to the arena

it sounds like they're trying to farm the mimics with undead hunter charms for symbol of avarice, not trying to get to the boss

(there's also a better path for getting to yhorm if you go off the bridge to the right instead of going past the gargoyles)

The fact that I accidentally got the symbol of avarice on the first ever mimic I killed is so funny

I was like tf even is this trash
