great heavy soul arrow is generally the best fp to damage ratio spell in pve

great farron dart works as a faster lower cost option as well

for dark sorceries, they're all relatively similar in fp to damage ratio iirc, so just use the strongest one you have available

and crystal magic weapon to buff whatever your melee option is
