Greetings! I'm doing a silly challenge of playing every souls game together, and beating all the bosses in alphabetical order across every game at the same time.

It's been going great; until I hit Dancer... Now I'm not a terrible player; I've beaten Dancer on a level 1, and a low level / low upgrade character with the Dark Hand.

I don't have the level restrictions on this character; but gear is incredibly limited.
I figured the Deep Battle Axe would be the best weapon, however I'm only getting 100-odd damage a hit, and requiring 50+ hits, it's... tough.

Healing is limited, as is Embers.

I can get a weapon up to +4 with a bit of grinding, and on one character I managed to get a Dark Gem drop from a Pus of Man.

What do you think would be a suitable weapon? Should I just stick at it and learn to dodge better? Since my weapons only go to +4 (and since I've been using the Deep Battle Axe that has no scaling) I figured I should just focus on Vigor & Endurance. But perhaps a Dark Infused weapon would be better? I could try and farm a Greataxe, or Winged Knight Halberd, but I worry about it being too slow.

Any input would be great, thank you!

Any particular reason? Wouldn't be too hard to acquire tbh.

I was thinking of something big, I usually get 1 maybe 2 hits on dancer b4 she attacks again

should be the highest dps for what you can acquire, also it's fast so you should be able to get more than 2 hits each time she is recovering

Hmmm, sound logic. I noticed on a page that apparently Dancer is weak to strike; would it be worth looking for a strike weapon perhaps? Maybe a mace?

it would be wise to act the same towards fandom, practically all the ds3 data you could ever want or need is in this server but, if you feel the need to use a wiki, wikidot is the most accurate

to relieve you of the search for dancers absorption values, she is only weak to dark

youre overthinking your weapon choice

dark infuse wont be good since you wont be able to get int and faith up without some serious grinding
