#Weird damage output

in your messege you've written the murakumo doing more damage while the lss isnt
if you mean it that it takes more health per hit , then maybe it depends upon the weapon type
murakumo isa curved sword , while the other is a straight sword
weapon type changes damage ?
maybe it does , because its quite noticeable in game
also elaborate to me how and which weapon is doing more damage , do you see it taking more hp per hit , or the physical damage written in the inventory?
the stats on the equipment menu are:
LSS = 153+ 162
murakumo= 199+ 220
murakumo is clearly higher, but, when using the weapon, the murakumo damage is lower thatn the LSS
i'm in the ithryl dungeons and tested with the life sucking enemies
i have 20 str and 40 dex
maybe its involved with the weapon type system I told you before
both are sharp enchanted
hmm, it's the only explanation
its involved with another matter that if the straight sword does thrust and standard both damage , to which the jailers (dungeon enemies) are maybe weak to , while if the murakumo does bleed and standard damage , and not thrust damage
probably the damage types and resistences, thank you ❤️
no problem
there is no "weapon type system," what even are you saying
both weapons share the same motion values for R1s
murakumo does slash damage, lothric knight straight sword does either standard or thrust depending on the attack
whatever is being hit probably has a higher slash absorption value
I mean, the game is 7 years old already, no way there is no information about enemies' weaknesses
and another point - that's exactly how people find and write about enemy weakness
they test the same weapon with known attributes on different enemies
so that was your little mistake
