it's for sure doable at low lvl, you just need to have the dancer's moves memorized

and with a non upgraded weapon it takes forever

but yeah being able to get a +10 weapon from the castle right away is quite nice, wish pvp didn't take weapon upgrades into account for matchmaking

although for the +10 i think you'd have to beat either dragonslayer and then run through the archives or beat oceiros and parry tf out of gundyr

but seeing as you could get +9 before fighting any of them it wouldn't be too bad

i have a lothric knight sword with a +4 upgrade and sharp infusion

you think i can do it ?

and also, does killing it affects the story line or no ?

yeah you should be good

early dancer doesn't affect any npc questlines

neither does oceiros or gundyr i think

and i forgot you can't get into the archives without killing all the lords first

so the only slab you can get is from trading the coiled sword fragment to the crow

i find oceiros pretty easy but gundyr's second phase can be challenging if your parry game isn't on point

i find his wide slash easiest to parry so if you're having trouble just try and bait that move

yeah of course

speedrunners do it with less i think

it's just gonna be a long fight

so you need to know how to dodge every move

2nd phase is quite a bit harder than the 1st

but there's still enough of a window for attacking

once you learn all the moves you'll know which ones leave the largest window

and those will be your attack ques

hardest part is getting that 2nd phase down to the point where nothing hits you anymore

also if you haven't beaten vordt yet, there's a summon sign in front of his fog gate
