I'm actually not sure what is statistically the best, but thrusting sword + quickstep is pretty solid in pve
really hard to get hit when you've got 13f startup attack (2h) with practically zero recovery
noble's estoc, I believe, can be used without talismans

Nobles estoc would be a bit time consuming to grind for, you reckon a regular estoc would work too, I already have radagons soreseal

Zelda, a good challenge runner, uses Bloodhound Fang (flask buffs) for their no upgrades/parrying/AoW/ashes, hitless kills
also Lordsworn's Greatsword for some stuff
