When I got this issue, I just restarted ALVR on the headset

It could be firewall issues, have you done the "Set firewall rules" in the ALVR dashboard?

I get a similar issue on my quest 2 and restarting the headset fixes it. I believe the headset is just out of memory in my case.

memory as in RAM. You'd restart to clear it. I assume you'd have restarted your headset at least once so.

well, it wasnt just vrc at first. i tried launching another game and had the same issue but today i managed to fix whatever was going on without any other issues

it wasnt even the antivirus. vrc just was refusing to install a non-corrupted anticheat file

i feel like that was a driver issue but i reinstalled my drivers clean and that fixed the issue for them. but i admittedly didn't try them again untill today as well so i wouldn't have known if it fixed them before or not
