well
whatever
I think I'm gonna sell my quest 2 at this point
I'm tried of this bullshit
I think I'm just gonna reinstall my system
at this point....
I really didn't want to do that but whatever.......
Have you tried running alvr_dashboard directly (in the terminal)? If you downloaded it with the launcher, it should be in ~/.local/share/ALVR-Launcher/installations/<version>/alvr_streamer_linux/bin/, or you can download and extract it manually from the releases on GitHub.
this is first time I tried
and these are all after first try afterwards
Huh, that's weird. At this point I'm just speculating, but is your system up to date, or is that the newest version of ALVR?
The best way to debug a core dump would be to get the stack trace by opening it in gdb and downloading additional debug symbols. Idk how that works on bazzite, but on my system I can run coredumpctl info to get a basic stack trace, and coredumpctl debug followed by enabling debuginfod and typing bt to get a more detailed backtrace. Also that would probably require getting debug symbols for alvr (idk if they are in the GitHub releases), or building from source in debug mode.
Oops I mentioned bazzite by mistake (mixed up with someone else), but the instructions should be similar for fedora.
uuuuh
well that overwhelmed me
(I mean the output from those commands)
I think I will just reinstall the system
It feels easier that way
nevermind my usb stick doesn't show up in bios out of nowhere...
that like
literally never happened to me ever before....
and it's showing up on all of my other computers....
how the fuck these things just keep happpening to me??
like on all of my computers everything is constantly fucking itself up in ways that no one heard before out of thin air
WHY?!
I'm fucking tired at this point
I used random nvme that was on my desk instead
