i need some help with my settings that gives off great performance in alvr wired and steamvr my specs are: RTX 3050 MSI, Vram 6gb, RAM 16gb, CPU I7-3770 3.40ghz.

Please still confirm your CPU if you can. I would only recommend lowering your bitrate or checking if it's even an ALVR issue. If the game has low FPS, ALVR can't help with that.
3050 should probably still be easily good for games like Beat Saber.

If you are connected via wired. I personally use H.264 at 600-800mbps constant.
Your CPU is a 3rd generation, with if I recall DDR3 RAM. Youd be looking at a whole new motherboard, CPU and RAM.
A new system would most likely work best depending on your case. Not sure what the highest model of CPU you can get on your motherboards chipset.
I may need to hop in a call and go through some things since it seems it's gonna be way more than just ALVR settings for your system depending on your game.

If the device is a laptop I don't think it is going to work well especially if it's an older 3rd generation CPU. You can't upgrade laptops.

My focus at the moment is how well your game runs at the moment. When you run a game on SteamVR, how many milliseconds is it per frame? Even if your headset isn't connected correctly I think it can still show you that.

Aye. Run your preferred fps to 72hz, H.264, try 600mbps constant and slowly tweak it down if your PC can't keep up while you watch the statistics.
Run the game in no fail mode on a super super hard map, sitting down at your PC and just watch the stats for some time.
Run the preset at maybe medium first.

You just sit in the Jet and tweak settings, a game that loads fast work.
Since you'll be restarting STEAMVR every time (not when messing with bitrate, you can do that without restarting)
