so when I want to play my oculus rift software game stuff exclusives I can't through steam vr unless I use virtual desktop. but my WiFi isn't good so I'm having to use link on alvr. would it be possible to like add something like what virtual desktop did to run meta software games on steam? I think its a driver or something.

I also just prefer steam vr and not meta software

ALVR only gives it to SteamVR.

Please check if you enabled OpenVR as the default VR API on SteamVR.

I'm not SteamVR support lol, but something is off with your internet ports.

There might be a piece of software that uses the same port that SteamVR uses.
