i have an rx 570 4 gb, i realized turning on foveated encoding helps alot with the performance (framerate with wired connection) although i don't really understand what each of the settings really do but they def increase the performance.
i am on such a budget card so knowing what other settings can help with the performance will be much appreciated

about the latency though, is it just me (and my settings) or alvr has slightly higher latency than oculus link

these programs are all doing same thing, there is no reason for big difference if you are using same settings

they are, but i just realized link gives me better latency, could be just placebo or better framerate due to games simply only running on the oculus runtime
but i haven't did an actual accurate benchmark

you get good framerate by using low resolution
i do use 1/1 resolution but with 2432 encode resolution width
