my headset wont appear in trusted devices i have it connected and i have the alvr app open on my quest

disable any antivirus then try, I was having the same problem so I tried that and it fixed it

verify your network connectivity

note that your ethernet on pc should be set to "private" on windows

and firewall must allow alvr to communicate

your wifi network must allow communication on local subnet, settings like "client isolation" can block this

test your network by pinging stuff - before moving to more advanced stuff

then reboot headset and pc, and retest

to connect manually just enter the ip address

find ip address on windows by looking at network adapter or "ipconfig" in cmd prompt

run network diagnostics, like ping etc - turn off whatever is blocking connection
