i fixed it
i reinstalled alvr on my headset and restarted my headset
i doubt it. i think it's just oculus openxr weirdness
This same thing happened to me for the Steam deck but I cant seem to fix it

found a fix put this in steam vr launch options ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/SteamVR/bin/vrmonitor.sh %command%
They are on windows. This thread is about an issue on windows.

I had the same error with 'End frame failed.....' Have been testing a lot of things, tested to force software rendering and it worked great. The fix was the same, restart the headset (Pico4), was running on Linux (Tuxedo OS, so Ubuntu). If someone else find this.
