First thing I'd suggest is going to the alvr server software settings and changing microphone and speaker drop downs to "disabled". If the headset successfully connects after that then you know that was the issue and you can try other combinations that might work. Ideally you want microphone to be set to "automatic" and speakers to be set to "default".

Also please post a screenshot of the logs tab in the alvr server software while the issue is occurring so that others can help
