quest 1 tracking ref help

Whenever i try to connect my quest one with tracking ref mode enabled it wont connect, connects fine when the mode is disabled, any fix?

i was following these videos and this is the only thing stopping me

There was a thread on here recently that dealt with this problem but with the Quest 2... if i recall

There are multiple methods to this, I wasn't able to find the exact solution, so hopefully Jules may be able to shed some light on it!

ensure that you change Allow multiple drivers to true in the config file of Steam VR for it to work, found at
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\resources\settings

are you using VD or Link for your Q3?

i'm not sure how it works exactly with link but, make sure you launch link first then open ALVR then launch it with ref on

make sure you have good straps or mounting, otherwise you'll have to reset a bunch
