As per title, my Lily58 is pairing and the OLED display shows the profile change from a cogwheel to a tick, with windows (11) listing the Lily58 as connected and displaying the battery percentage - but doesn't appear to respond to input beyond that.

Essentially, I had this working but boxed it away since May 2nd. Got it out and no longer seemed to work - so I re-flashed the firmware that worked last time but still had no luck.

Other things I have tried:

  • Building fresh firmware, with the same configuration (I noted that the file size increased, so I assume this has pulled the latest ZMK updates)
  • Reinstalling Bluetooth driver manually
  • Uninstalling Bluetooth driver and letting it be installed automatically when inserting the Bluetooth dongle.
  • Tried the Bluetooth dongle in x2 USB 2.0 and x2 USB 3.0 ports
  • Rebooted OS twice
  • Tried removing device from OS, then BT_CLR, then tried a different profile
  • Tried with and without other keyboard plugged in

Only appears to work when I have the left half plugged into the PC. (never plugged in the right half)

Help would be appreciated!

# vernal dawn Did the first suggestion work, or did you have to restart computer etc.

I followed the below:

Windows Connected But Not Working
Occasionally pairing the keyboard to a Windows device might result in a state where the keyboard is connected but does not send any key strokes. If this occurs:

  1. Remove the keyboard from Windows using the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Invoke &bt BT_CLR on the keyboard while the profile associated with the Windows device is active, by pressing the correct keys for your particular keymap.
  3. Turn off Bluetooth from Windows settings, then turn it back on.
  4. Pair the keyboard to the Windows device.

No further action or restarts were required, just those 4 steps did the job 🙂
